2001 Dodge Durango R/T

I purchased my Durango R/T new in December 2000 ($35,725 MSRP), and have had 11 trouble free years. When I first purchased it, I joined the Durango Owner's Club, swapped to a 52mm throttlebody and added a cold-air intake, as well as a ClassIV trailer hitch and electric brake controller. Other than that, the R/T is stock. I've always used Mobil1 engine oil as well.

It's been my daily driver with many highway trips. Occasionally (appx 10x), the R/T was used to tow the race car on an open trailer, which it did very well. Every winter I would swap on the steel wheels with Nokian Hakepelitta snow tires - I haven't changed to the snows yet, but will do that for the buyer. The 3rd row seat has been used once on a ski trip, but other than that, has always been folded , down flat.

Since I'm no longer racing, I no longer need a vehicle this size.

The R/T is in fair condition when using the Kelley Blue Book guidelines due to some rust, which is visible in the pictures (a few spots on the front bumper, behind the rear bumper, and under the right rear door. I'd rate the exterior 6/10 for the minor rust, but at 10 feet away, it would be an 8/10. A few years ago, someone in a small Toyota clipped the right rear quarter of the R/T on Rt84 when he merged into me, which left a tiny crease. Everything else buffed out, and there have been no other accidents. I still like seeing the truck in my driveway every morning!

The interior is in good shape (7/10, don't have children, non-smoker, but some small stains on the carpet), and the leather seats are also in good condition (no cracks, tears, or stains). I've had Weathertech floor mats (front, rear, and cargo) since the truck was new. There are several scuffs on the interior trim from hardware store trips. I still have the Thule roof rack feet in the pictures, but will be swapping the factory roof rack back on.
